TAQA Arabia, an energy and utility provider in Egypt, has announced the commissioning of Tanzania’s first integrated Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Filling Station and Conversion Centre named Master Gas to serve up to 800 vehicles daily, this CNG station is the first of 12 planned by TAQA Arabia through its joint venture in Tanzania.
TAQA Dalbit, a collaboration between TAQA Arabia and JCG Oil & Gas, carried out this project, which focuses on investing in filling stations and conversion centres to promote the use of compressed natural gas in vehicles.
Hon. Dr. Doto Mashaka Biteko, Tanzania’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, commended TAQA Arabia and JCG Oil & Gas for their investment during the commissioning ceremony.

TAQA Arabia’s Chairman, Engr Khaled Abu Bakr, affirmed the company’s dedication to expanding its presence in Tanzania.
