The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) announced a recruitment drive, inviting potential candidates to join their workforce.
In a statement on Friday, NNPCL spokesperson Olufemi Soneye indicated that the recruitment would encompass various positions across multiple departments in the state-owned oil firm.
“NNPC Ltd is pleased to announce that we are currently hiring for multiple positions across various departments. We are seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team. Visit our careers page for application instructions,” Soneye stated.
Interested individuals can apply online through the official website; https://careers.nnpcgroup.com.
However, shortly after the announcement, the portal experienced technical problems, leaving the applicants unable to apply. The firm attributed the glitches to the high traffic of the applicants on the portal.
“Due to unprecedented traffic to the NNPC Ltd. career page from applicants applying for vacancies, the site is experiencing slow load times. Our technicians are working diligently to rectify the problem as quickly as possible. Please be assured that the application process deadline remains August 20, 2024,” NNPC said via its X account.
This is the first recruitment exercise since NNPCL’s transition into a limited company in 2022.
