The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) is moving to produce fuel from alternative sources. This was decleared on Tuesday during the US Grains Council in Abuja hosted by the GCEO of NNPC, Mele Kyari.
Both parties discussed how they can collaborate towards the growth of ethanol production in the country with sustainability principles. The move will see the national oil firm produce the product from corn and other sources, according to Opera News.
The NNPC team was led by Dapo Segun the Executive Vice President, Downstream who represented the GCEO. While the US delegation was led by the President / CEO of the US Grains Council, Ryan LeGrand.
