The initiative aimed to address the critical manpower gaps in the power sector by equipping 50 individuals with essential skills.
According to a statement from Mainstream Energy Solutions, 46 of the trainees possessed National Diplomas (ND) in Electrical Engineering, while four held National Certificates of Education in Electrical Technology.

Thirty participants were assigned to various Yola Electricity Distribution Company business units.
The training initiative was specifically tailored to support the Yola Electricity Distribution Company’s rehabilitation efforts, focusing on improving electricity quality in the northeast region, covering Adamawa, Borno, Taraba, and Yobe states.
Mainstream Energy Solutions expressed optimism about the partnership with the North-East Development Commission, emphasizing its potential to address the region’s human capital development challenges and bridge the skills gap within the power sector.
