PETROSOL Ghana Ltd, a Ghanaian Oil Marketing Company (OMC), was honoured with the National Quality Award—Diamond for 2023 in the non-food category at the recent AGI Ghana Industry & Quality Awards event.
Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), organised the event aimed to recognize companies that excel in industry, innovation, and adherence to quality standards.
K. T. Hammond, the Ghanaian Minister of Trade & Industry, presented the award, applauding PETROSOL for implementing systems and structures that ensure the delivery of high-quality petroleum products while operating in compliance with both national and international standards.
Energy News Africa reported that the awards program seeks to reward companies that demonstrate outstanding success in various industry sectors, promoting excellence, sustainability, and diversity in the evaluated year.
Head of Compliance & Supply Chain who doubled as the Acting Head of Marketing & Strategy at PETROSOL, Mr. Joseph Yaribil, expressed the company’s delight at the national recognition.
He emphasized that the award underscores PETROSOL’s commitment to quality and standards.
Addressing recent complaints from motorists regarding vehicle breakdowns due to poor-quality fuel and lubricants from other Oil Marketing Companies, Mr. Yaribil extended sympathy to those affected. He assured motorists and companies that PETROSOL provides high-quality fuel and lubricants meeting the specifications of Original Engine Manufacturers (OEM) for various vehicles and industrial equipment.
Encouraging customers to visit any of PETROSOL’s 120 fuel stations across the country for their fuel and lubricant needs, especially during the festive season, Mr. Yaribil dedicated the award to PETROSOL’s loyal customers, dedicated dealers, staff, and regulators.
The awardee operates an extensive network of over 120 fuel stations nationwide and supplies petroleum products to corporate institutions.
