Ghana to Complete LNG Project By The End of This Year

Despite several setbacks, the Ghana top oil regulator, expects the country’s long delayed natural gas import terminal to be completed by the end of this year.

Chief Executive Officer, Ghana’s National Petroleum Authority, Mustapha Abdul – Hamid, mentioned during an interview on the sidelines if EGYPES energy conference in Cairo on Tuesday, that the pipeline and storage network that will recieve liquified gas deliveries is under construction, and due to be completed before the year runs out.

“Our Ghana government, signed an agreement with Equitorial Guinea for supply of LNG.” Abdul-Hamid said.

He added that the imported LNG will serve domestic, industrial, vehicle purpose as well as other uses.
